Pt2. 72nd or 77th Central Park West?

Ladies Pavilion in Central Park was always our first choice for wedding location. This secluded spot of serene beauty located next to the Lake, scored high in our research for its history and its surroundings. The fact that its cameo appearance alongside Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City was purely coincidental.

I had never visited the location prior to getting married but my future husband found himself on business in New York and took a stroll to the Pavilion to set his mind at rest. When he returned to the UK and he told me about his impromptu visit, all he could do was smile and that said it all....Perfect!

April 2015 brought with it the completion of the final arrangements to our wedding day. We had planned every aspect of it and felt reassured in our confidence at choosing the best service providers who would assist in making it a magical day. Throughout the entire planning, we had really enjoyed imagining what our dream day would be and then piece by piece, joining together the various parts which would eventually form a creation made with love.

April also brought the prospect of unsettled weather during our stay and whilst you have to accept that New York weather is a law unto itself, my husband never faltered once in his firm belief that it can do whatever it likes any other day but on April 29, the sun will shine for us. Little did we know that the moment we stepped foot in Newark airport, was the exact moment New York was about to embark on a heat wave of massive proportions!

It's customary for the Bride to be fashionably late for their wedding day and it's their privilege to exercise this prerogative. It was agreed that the limousine would drop myself and our photographers off at the West 77th entrance to Central Park where a short walk south would find my husband waiting for me at Ladies Pavilion.

I arrived. I looked for the Pavilion hidden amongst the trees. I looked for the clear blue sky above with the lunchtime sun showering me in warmth. I looked for my future husband.

Can you guess which one was missing?
